Our rehearsal space has been confirmed at St. Simon's Church, 1450 Litchfield Road, Oakville. This church backs on to Trafalgar Road, north of the QEW, across the street from the north entrance to Sheridan College. Turn right at the lights at White Oaks Blvd., then immediately left on to Litchfield, then left again into the church parking lot. Here is their google map:
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to take part, please respond to the e-mail attached below. Your prompt response will help enormously in assessing the balance of each voice section.
Attendance at ALL rehearsals is strongly recommended in order to ensure a performance of high quality. If you must miss more than two consecutive rehearsals, permission from the conductor is necessary in order to continue with the choir for the Knox concerts.
As is our usual practice, all choristers must commit to singing both concerts and the dress rehearsal. Permission to miss any concerts or the dress rehearsal must be requested from the music director in advance, and will be given only under extraordinary circumstances.
Choristers who fail to attend the dress rehearsal, without advance approval, will not be allowed to sing in the concerts. Skipping a concert without advance permission will jeopardize a singer’s future participation.
A donation of $20.00 per singer is requested to cover the cost of rehearsal expenses payable at the first rehearsal. Once you have indicated your interest in participating, further information will follow.
